RESIDENTIAL TRANSFORMATION
We recently completed an entire property makeover to a run down home in Nundah - North Brisbane.
Stripping back all loose materials and made good to the necessary areas, a thorough pressure clean was done and all surfaces sprayed to a finish once fully protected.
The client wanted a fast turn around and we delivered - not only on time but the finish product. It was put on the market and buyer was obtained within the first week.
ROOF RESTORATION
This commercial roof was in need of some serious TLC. It was failing in most areas with the majority of that down to sun damage and rainfall over decades.
With two primers applied and more than 5 tubes of Sikaflex used, we decided on using Dulux Acra-tex - a product designed to reflect the heat and maintain correct temperatures inside.
A light colour was advised and agreed for maximum longevity.
CEILING RESTORATION & INTERIOR PAINTING
The ceilings on this property in Miami, Gold Coast was never done correctly from the start, no sealer applied to the original plasterboards ultimately failing a few years down the line.
We had to remove everything and start again. We cannot stress enough the importance of following the manufactures guidelines and to not cut corners for a quick buck!
We was able to turn this around fairly quickly using the correct methods needed and with perseverance from the team new tenants was able to move in.
BRINGING HERITAGE BUILDINGS BACK TO LIFE
A grade 2 listed building which has been stood for almost 200 years!!
Full sash window restoration and large patch rendering was needed to get this back to where it belongs, We hammer tested the entire property enabling us to find the things which the eye cannot.
Colours were to stay in uniform to the surrounding buildings, maintaining all original features
WINDOW RESTORATION
“we’ve been told these windows need replacing”
Let us be the judge of that - with over 20 years in restoring sash and Georgian windows dating back to the late 1800’s, we know exactly what products and systems work best in order to do so without the huge costs of replacements.
Re-glazing broken panes, cutting out rotten timber, rebuilding using resin repair and completed by applying only the best paints available!
VERANDAH REPAINT
Although we love to keep the original varnish timber look, sometimes we find the need to bring a pop of colour to these external living areas.
This colour (shale grey) was chosen by the client and we think they done a great job!
After completing all weatherboards and lattice we protected (see image) which enabled us to spray finish to perfection.
